THIS is a fact we have to accept magnanimously albeit with some sarcasm. There is virtually nothing the government can do against corruption perpetrated by foreign NGOs in Aceh after the 2004 tsunami. To think that not less than Rp20 trillion in foreign aid has come in through bilateral and multilateral donors, as well as hundreds of international NGOs.
