ID Cards Issuance Only 16 Percent Finished

THE issuance of new identity cards (KTP) for the Aceh population to replace the old KTP (the red-and-white KTP) has been slow. Since its inception last March, only 16 percent of the new KTP have been issued.

Now, on average only 16 percent of the KTP have been printed for the entire region of Aceh, said Aceh Regional Secretary Husni Bahri TOB Tuesday last week.
