THE laughter and chatter of children could be heard from behind the class wall. The mischief did not disturb the 15 women engaged in a discussion in the classroom. They were exchanging experiences and thrashing out theories of childcare patterns. Two weeks ago, the 15 women came to Lembang, West Java, leaving their faraway homes in Banda Aceh, Meulaboh and Medan.
