MOUNDS of pebbles fill the entrance to the Turkish village at Lampuuk, Lhok Nga, Greater Aceh. One afternoon on Saturday last week, a truck was unloading the pebbles at the mouth of the road leading to the housing complex under construction by the Turkish Red Crescent. Several occupants of the new houses were riding about on motorcycles.
