RUMORS were rife that Justice & Human Rights Minister, Hamid Awaludin, and State Secretary, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, played a part in the transfer of Rp190 billion in funds from Bank Paribas in London to Tommy Suharto.

The rumor spread in March 2007 just as the government was trying to recoup Rp630 billion in what it said was ill-gotten money deposited by Tommy with the London bank.
