Two World Titles

INDONESIA brought home two championship titles from the World Badminton Championships in Kuala Lumpur last August. In the men’s doubles, Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan defeated Jung Jae-sung/Lee Yong-dae of South Korea. In the mixed doubles Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir defeated Gao Ling/Zheng Bo of China. Unfortunately, the men’s singles title was just out of reach as Sony Dwi Kuncoro lost to Lin Dan from China.
