IT’S a bright afternoon in 2002. The meeting room of PT Tempo Inti Media Harian in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, was almost packed. Nearly 100 employees crammed into the room measuring only 7 x 4 meters. Some of them were even craning their necks from the door. Director of PT Tempo Inti Media Tbk, concurrently Chief Editor of Tempo magazine and Koran Tempo, Bambang Harymurti, glanced around the room now and again.
