A pan and a bamboo strainer, the tools of traditional gold mining at Bombana, Southeast Sulawesi, where miners set up tents made of blue plastic as their temporary shelters. Not long after the picture was taken on March 13, the local government shut down the illegal mines, fearing further degradation and erosion of the land.
