Indonesia-China diplomatic relations are 60 years old this year. There was a long interruption following the fall of Sukarno and the rise of Suharto to power. Today, economic interests are the priority. China, which has opened itself up to capitalism, will soon become an economic giant. April 13, 1950: Indonesia-China diplomatic relations begin.
