How do non-ASEANs see ASEAN's community-building efforts?

The US Chamber of Commerce recently conducted a survey of US companies to find out whether the ASEAN goal to achieve an ASEAN Economic Community by 2015 was important to them. The results were presented to the ASEAN economic ministers at their summit in Manado, North Sulawesi last August.
