The government is accelerating the construction of public housing, in particular for the low-income groups. In Jakarta alone, nine apartment buildings will be built, some of them on land that used to be the Kemayoran Airport. One of the biggest apartment complex will consist of at least 13 buildings, comprising 15,000 units.
