East Tanjung Jabung Regency

THE Regency of East Tanjung Jabung is one of the resource-rich regions in the Province of Jambi. With an area of 5,445 square kilometers, this regency bears crude oil and natural gas deposits that have been exploited. Its detected natural gas reserves reach 4.5 billion tons. Sadly, it is short of infrastructure. Its roads, bridges, electricity installations, drinking water, telephone and seaport are in very poor condition.
