Caltex Hikes Production
PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia's (CPI) production of oil has dropped to only 610,000 barrels per day, compared to 640,000 last year. That's why CPI President Director, Humayunbosa, intends to hike production by around 40,000 barrels per day. To boost production, CPI is likely to get an injection of around US$450 million from its parent company, Chevron Texaco Corp.
