Dozens of bats hung onto the underside of the roof of a pergola decorated with plants, which visitors had to pass under on their way to the steps leading up to the Salihara Gallery in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. There wassomething unique hidden among the dozens of night creatures sleeping above. Nestled among the many black bats was a lone white one. They are sculptures of bats made of a polyester resin created by Komroden Haro, a graduate of th
