AS the Idul Fitri holidays approach, the widespread circulation of illegal beef imports recently drove President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to express his disapproval against such imports at the office of Agriculture Minister Suswono. The President ordered all illegal imports of frozen beef and live cattle to be stopped. "The Agriculture Ministry must investigate this, Yudhoyono said, following a cabinet meeting at the Ministry last week.
