We are approaching the time of year when companies assess the current year's likely outcome and start preparing their budgets for 2014. With the Indonesian economy going through a turbulent phase, the big question is whether the weakening rupiah and the rise in interest rates have peaked and, if so, where is it going to settle down to and, ultimately, what will be its impact on growth for next year?

First, we need to assess whether
