AS a politician, Ganjar Pranowo once had a close relationship with Puan Maharani. Both were officials in the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Faction at the House of Representatives (DPR). When Puan became chairperson of the PDI-P Faction in 2021, Ganjar was the party’s deputy secretary.
