Was it really just a question of luck? Several Indonesians experienced at first hand the worst tragedy ever to hit the United States. Here are the stories of two people who worked at the World Trade Center and survived to talk about their experiences on that Black Tuesday to TEMPO.

Emilia Priyadi, 25, majored in finance at Oregon University. The young woman from Palembang worked at the computer division of Morgan Stanley on the 71st floor of
