SARI’s activities on Monday morning, January 6, 2025, were not as hectic as before. Usually, every morning, the 38-year-old woman would rush to prepare breakfast and a packed lunch for her eldest child, Aditya Ramadhan, a fourth-grader at Srondol Wetan State Elementary School in Semarang, Central Java. Now, Sari no longer needs to prepare a lunchbox because Aditya’s school receives free nutritious meals from the government.
