Detention orders have been issued for three directors of Karaha Bodas suspected to be involved in a tax case.

A NEW ERA is beginning in Indonesia's prisons. As the government of Megawati Sukarnoputri was averse to lifting the lid off suspected corruption at the Karaha project, in mid-November the Directorate General of Taxes issued detention orders for three former directors of PT Karaha Bodas Company (KBC). The three are suspected of tax arrears as well as tax fraud.
