PNM Plants 10,000 Mangroves to Preserve the Ecosystem in Subang

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) planted 10,000 mangroves in Langansari Village, Blanakan District, Subang Regency, on Saturday, August 27, 2022. This activity is part of PNM's concern and commitment to make a real contribution to environmental sustainability, especially the preservation of forest ecosystems.

In this activity, PNM worked together with the Subang Regency Government, the Subang Regency Environmental Service, the Purwakarta Region II Forestry Service, and the Langensari Village Sustainable Group.

The mangrove seeds was given by the PNM Subang Branch Manager, Jimi Firmansyah, and was attended by 100 guests, including local officials. The planting activities were carried out by 100 employees of PNM Subang Branch.

“The distribution of this CSR program is a form of PNM's commitment to keep preserving the environment and empowering the community. We also focus on developing other potentials and making this place one of the areas where household businesses grow, especially those who cultivate mangrove fruit and sap into products that can be sold to the public," said Jimi.

Until August 26, 2022, PNM has distributed financing of Rp137.61 trillion to PNM Mekaar's customers, totaling 12.5 million customers. Currently, PNM has 3,500 PNM Mekaar service offices and 624 PNM ULaMM service offices throughout Indonesia serving MSMEs in 34 provinces, 443 regencies/cities, and 5,640 districts. (*)
