SHE was holding a bundle of typed manuscripts. This woman, 69, met with Jojo Soetjahjo Gani, the great grandson of Tan Khoen Swie, the founder of the once famous publishing house in Kediri early in the 20th century. The woman introduced herself as a retired teacher of regional language at the girls vocational junior high school (SMP) in Kediri, East Java. Her name was Siti Halimah Soeparno.
