East Timor has been independent from Indonesia for two years. However, Indonesia's courts are still concerned with various cases concerning East Timor. Recently, the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET) requested Indonesia to extradite former East Timor pro-integration militia leader, Eurico Guterres, to East Timor.
