AT the end of their term, the leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has not yet re-designated former South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor as a suspect in a bribery case. This is despite the KPK has already arrested people close to Uncle Birin—Sahbirin’s nickname. Investigators have even failed twice to present the uncle of the top coal entrepreneur, Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad, alias Haji Isam, for questioning.
