GLOBAL investors once again focus their attention on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting held last week. The long-awaited news of when the Federal Reserve will lower its benchmark interest rates has finally arrived. The FOMC meeting did not cut the rates just yet, but strong signals have emerged indicating that the rate cut is likely to occur this September.
