Two new free tabloids help liven up the English media market. There is fear the trend will sacrifice journalistic quality.

TWO free tabloids have been intensively distributed in London in the last two weeks. At subway train stations, these free tabloids are easily available. London Lite, published by the British Newspaper Association, came out early this month. On Monday last week, thelondonpaper, owned by Rupert Murdoch, the world-famous media tycoon, was published.
