ENJOYING Jombang’s signature oxtail soup, Prabowo Subianto, General Chair of the Greater Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party, spent about an hour at the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Tambakberas, East Java on Wednesday, May 4. To the 50 kiai (clerics) who were there with him, Prabowo said it had been difficult for him to go to meet them since he became the Minister of Defense in President Joko Widodo’s cabinet.
