It certainly dampened the shine on the appointment of Admiral Indroko Sastrowiryono as the Navy’s chief of staff. The three thieves caught red-handed as they seized sunken treasure off the coast of Sumatra were one of his biggest catches. Late last month they escaped from detention on a Navy boat in Pondokdayung, Tanjung Priok, Jakarta.
