Press Freedom Index Worsening
RESULTS of research by the non-profit organization, Reporters Without Borders (RSF), have indicated that the press freedom index in Indonesia is worsening. Indonesia’s score has declined from 62.60 in 2021 to 49.27 this year. Indonesia ranks 117th out of 180 countries, down from the previous 113th position. The score is worse than those of Thailand, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.
