The KPU has overextended itself, to the extent of dealing with matters of logistics. As a result, much of its work is now in disarray.

EVERYONE had hopes that the General Elections Commission (KPU), with its 11, specially selected members would be truly independent. Before its work was done, however, two members had already resigned: Imam Prasodjo and Mudji Sutrisno.
