The Aceh administration bill is being prepared. Obstructing its enactment would mean muzzling local democracy, and turning us into a nation which breaks its promises.

THE resolution of the conflict in Aceh is now nearing its close. Like a bomb or a firework, the fuse is already lit and the flame is approaching the end. It could turn into a destructive bomb, or a fireworkbeautiful, bright and symbolizing hopeif it is managed properly.
