Their tale was an agonizing one. Imam Hambali alias Kemat, who once held the title “Second Runner-Up Transvestite Queen 2005” from the Jombang Transvestite Association, was the owner of Ayu Salon in Kalang Semanding village, East Java.
Devid Eko Priyanto was his employee. In November 2007, out of the blue they were arrested for allegedly murdering Asrori, the owner of a cellphone shop near the salon.
