Milan Sladek returned to Jakarta to perform at Salihara and Goethe. Despite his age, the maestro pantomimist remained as energetic as he was on a visit to Indonesia more than 20 years ago.

THE 70-year-old maestro is still energetic. His body is slim and his bodily movements remain graceful and expressive. On stage, without speech, he easily changed from one role to another, impersonating a ballet dancer, a violinist, a harpist, and a kabuki dancer.
