THE plan by the state-owned enterprises (SOEs) ministry to sell shares in Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) on the stock exchange in November is the right thing to do. Energy is a business sector that should be treated like any other sector: it should expand and make a profit. This initiative could bring in state revenues and at the same time, leading to better corporate governance of our energy sector.
