DESPITE all the limitations, arts performances and activities in Indonesia continued during the Covid-19 pandemic. A number of bookstores, arts buildings and concert halls were forced to close, but writers and artists continued working. Over the last three years, hundreds of books have been published and performances of music, dance and theatre as well as fine arts exhibitions have gone ahead, even though some of them have been performed online o
