To be wary of exclusive political movements is natural, but to be overly suspicious of them carries high risks.

Has a Muslim caucus been formed? This question was publicly debated after a meeting was held at the home of Amien Rais, on Wednesday two weeks ago. Muslim leaders of some political parties gathered at the official residence of the Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR). Suspicions arose—from the uninvited—that a coalition along the lines of the Central Axis was being established.
