The sun was setting as students at Pondok Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) Nurul Madinah in Pelulan hamlet, North Kuripan village, West Lombok regency, finished their marching band training. That afternoon, one of the students, Sahwir, was in charge of taking care of the musical instruments, which included snare drums, cymbals and bass drums. "We train every afternoon. Some join karate exercises and others go to English Club sessions," he told T
