From Septic Tanks to Stoves

An Islamic boarding school in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, uses biogas produced from human feces to fuel their cooking stoves. The renewable energy saves them Rp150,000 per day.

AS a teacher at Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) Isti Daduddarain in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Haryadi occasionally supervises the school's kitchen.
