Last July, a group of people asked him to close down the Saman Indonesian Baptist Church (GBI-Saman) in Semon subdistrict. Three months later, the same group demanded that his administration demolish the statue of Jesus at the Santo Yakobus Alfeus Church in the Pajangan subdistrict.
