The Cake of Growth is Unequal
THE country’s economy in the second quarter of this year was moving a little faster. However, this growth is only benefiting the high-income group. The middle and lower income groups are still wrestling with price increases of cooking oil and milk, as well as the choking price of kerosene. Hence, the government is still unpopular in the eyes of the consumer.
