AGNES van Ardenne took the scissors and cut the ribbon to resounding applause. Beside her, Chairman of the Aceh-Nias Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Agency (BRR), Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, and Transportation Minister, Hatta Radjasa, smiled with satisfaction.

That day, Monday, October 9, the Dutch Minister for Development Cooperation was in Banda Aceh to inaugurate the reopening of the Malahayati Port which was destroyed by the tsunami two years ago.
