Three lakes lie in the right leg of Sulawesi Island: Matano, Mahalona, and Towuti. The Lake Malili complex has existed for millions of years and it remains the source of stories about the vert first human, and of lake shores untouched by civilization.

Adirman Arsyil sprung from the water, his right hand brandishing a spear. At the end of it, a fat tilapia fish writhed and wriggled.
