THE growing phenomenon of radicalism is making people ask what the two major Islamic organizations, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah, are doing to stop the trend. Both are considered to have not been responsive while the image of Islam is being tarnished by the action of a few radicals.
