The Gold Surprise from Bintaro
Greysia Polii and Apriyani Rahayu became the first Indonesian women’s doubles badminton players to win an Olympics gold medal. They further contribute to the growing list of Olympics gold medalists from the Jaya Raya Badminton Association in Bintaro, Jakarta.

JIA Yifan was still able to return the sharp smash by Greysia Polii, albeit imperfectly. The shuttlecock flew to the rear-left of Court 1, Musashino Forest Sport Plaza, Tokyo, Japan. Apriyani Rahayu rushed to intercept the shuttlecock, which then landed just barely outside of the line. The line judge stretched both his arms wide.
