Disappointed by Metland
AS one of the owners of Hotel Horison Seminyak, Bali, I am very disappointed by Metland management who has not delivered the hotel's ownership certificate despite their promises. I have settled my purchase of one unit of the hotel in December 2012. I paid the land and building acquisition fees (BPHTB) and notarial deed on January 2015.

Laws against smoking in public places throughout Jakarta and Depok are numerous and have been in place since 2005, all of four governors ago in the Jakarta vicinity.
Yet till today, the little angkot minivans that ply the small roads leading into residential areas are replete with smokers who light up with abandon. Some even share a friendly smoke with the driver of the said public vehicle. What is a non-smoking passenger to do? The city administration should enforce the ruling that enjoins all public transportation to put up stickers informing about the ban on smoking and the sanctions smoking carries (three days imprisonment and a fine of Rp1 million).

IN the magazine's August 24-30 issue, page 13, within the articles Flop at Fasken Block and Risky Business, page 34 to 36, Tempo wrote about the declining share price of Swift Energy Co at the NYSE and linked it to the potential loss of PGN's investment in Fasken shale gas area, Texas, the United States. With regard to these reports, we would like to explain the following:
1. Saka Energi Indonesia (SEI), a subsidiary of PGN, has never invested in Swift Energy, nor has it acquired shares of said company as traded at the NYSE.
