Fisheries and Marine Affairs Minister Susi Pudjiastuti has denied a request for unrestricted fish import rights. She said a reduction in fish imports should be pursued instead. Establishment of Six SOE Holding companies Accelerated
The state-owned enterprises (SOEs) ministry is accelerating discussions on a draft government regulation concerning the establishment of six SOE holding companies. The formation of the six holding companies in the oil and gas, mining, banking, toll roads, housing and construction and engineering sectors is targeted to finish by mid-2016 in order to comply with President Joko Widodo's request for it to be concluded this year.

THE Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is set to start investigating mining business licenses (IUP) that lack so-called clean-and-clear certificates from the energy and mineral resources ministry.
