EKO Supriyanto made his brow touch the stage floor. The moment he did so the sound of the beating of a drum broke the silence. Then Tony Prabowo’s musical work Requiem reverberated in the entire hall. The pre-recorded voice of Nyak Ina Raseuki came in layers, one echoing over the other, like a church choir.
