THE audience entering from the main gate of Taman Budaya Yogyakarta seemed to hesitate to come into the exhibition hall. The reason was that a piece of white cloth was stretched lengthwise from the gateway to the middle of the hall. This piece of fabric, carrying a line of footprints on it, seemed as if it were a pathway leading to the sky which ended on the ceiling of the hall.
