Had he so wished, Nasirun could have filled the exhibition room at the Indonesian National Gallery with his new paintings. Collectors and profiteers would undoubtedly have snapped up the entire body of art. However, he had chosen a different form of exhibition, displaying works purchased by collectors, private collections and new paintings from this year. His new paintings, 36 in all, were sold before the exhibition opened on October 6.
