Her house at Palek, Sampoinit subdistrict, Aceh Jaya, was burnt down by persons unknown because her husband was accused of being involved in the Free Aceh Movement (GAM). The armed conflict also caused the 36-year-old woman to become a single parent to her two children and live in other peoples houses.
